Why Epic Shit Doesn’t Happen In A Day

You know that girl??

Yeah THAT girl… the one you secretly stalk on FB. The one who seems to have her shit together. The one who is rocking her own business, has built an audience and a platform and everyone is following her like she is some kind of social media god- including you.

She’s just doing EPIC shit. Running her biz like a boss, living in her truth, following her dreams. #killingit

We all know that girl. You follow her, you wish you were her, although you would NEVER admit it out loud. You want her hair, her body, HER LIFE.

Okay maybe you are not quite as stalkers as me but you get my point right.

The only difference between you and that girl?

She’s a doer.

You are a watcher. Sitting on the sidelines, waiting. Watching. Wondering when it will be your turn to _________. Don’t be THAT girl. The watcher. Because the only thing that is standing in the way of you and the girl doing her thang is well… YOU.

It’s the actual DOING part that you are missing. And Epic shit doesn’t happen in one day. It is the small things you do each and every day. The decision to NOT drink that wine tonight, or to go to the gym, or to reach out to that person you are scared to talk to about collaborating with your business, or starting a blog to help you grow your audience. One decision after another- all small- and alone may have very little impact. But decisions strung together on the path to a goal.. That is what separates the “successful” from the not. There is no such thing as an overnight success.

So one decision. Then the next. One action. Then the next. <-That’s how you do some EPIC shit.

What will you do today, RIGHT NOW, that will get you closer to where you want to be. Because Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither will your dreams …
